About Me:

I love food (especially chocolate) and trying new restaurants with my friends. I also love music and going to concerts. Some of my other hobbies include traveling abroad, reading, volunteering, building Legos, and watching sports.

Why are you passionate about aviation?

I am passionate about aviation because I love learning new things and as an avid traveler and the daughter of a pilot, I have been exposed to aviation all my life. I hope to be able to carve my own path in this field, starting with the Tuskegee NEXT program.

Why did you choose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT and how did you hear about the program?

I chose Tuskegee NEXT because it came highly praised and recommended by a former cadet and I can tell already that everyone involved strives to make everything feel family-oriented and wants all the cadets to excel. I think Tuskegee NEXT will prove to be an amazing first stepping stone to my career and I am excited to honor the legacy of the incomparable Tuskegee airmen.

What are your future aviation aspirations?

After earning my aviation science degree from Texas Southern, I plan to become an airline pilot. Hopefully, I’ll get to fly for United so I can fly with my dad one day as he is also a United pilot. I also want to start a program that spreads awareness about aviation in underprivileged black and brown communities. This will be catered especially towards young women in an effort to diversify the cockpit in years to come.

Fun Fact:

I am an award-winning alto saxophone player.
