As a mentor, you'll provide guidance, encouragement, and real-world insight to a cadet or fellow navigating their aviation journey. Whether you're a pilot, engineer, aviation professional, or leader in another field, your experience can help shape the trajectory of a young person's future.
What Mentors Do
✓ Regular Engagement: Meet regularly (virtually or in person) with your assigned cadet or fellow
✓ Share Experience: Share professional insights and life skills from your career journey
✓ Provide Support: Provide support through challenges and milestones in their aviation journey
✓ Build Leadership: Help build confidence, leadership, and resilience in the next generation
Mentorship Commitment
Mentors Must Facilitate:
✓ 4 Sessions (via Zoom)
✓ 30min Sessions
✓ 1 Cadet per mentor
Each Session Must Provide:
✓ Networking
✓ Coaching and Support
✓ Motivation and Encouragement
All potential mentors must submit to a background check to participate in the program.
