About Me:
As a first-generation college student, I take great pride in forging my path and overcoming challenges with unwavering determination and resilience. My keen observation skills enable me to analyze details and understand situations from various perspectives, allowing me to navigate both my academic and personal growth effectively. I stay true to my values while embracing new experiences, always mindful of the broader implications and the impact of my decisions. With a goal-oriented mindset, I actively pursue every opportunity, ensuring that my actions align with my long-term goals. My drive to succeed extends beyond personal achievement as I am committed to inspiring others who share similar journeys.

Why are you passionate about aviation?
I am passionate about Aviation because, growing up, I rarely encountered aviation professionals who resembled me, and that experience fuels my passion for change. Diversity goes beyond mere visibility, it drives innovation, strengthens leadership, and ensures that the aviation field reflects the world it serves. When minorities enter the aviation field, we challenge outdated stereotypes and inspire future generations to dream beyond limitations. I want to be part of that transformation, proving that talent and ambition transcend race and background. My presence in aviation is not just a personal journey, it is part of a broader movement to break barriers and create lasting change.

Why did you choose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT and how did you hear about the program?
I discovered the Tuskegee NEXT Summer Aviation Program through recommendations from friends and family. After conducting extensive research, I believe that participating in this program would be a transformative experience for my personal and professional development. I chose to apply to Tuskegee NEXT because I am determined to become the first Pilot in my family. What are your future aviation aspirations?
After I graduate from Lewis University with my bachelor’s degree in aviation Flight Technology, I plan to pursue my master’s degree in aviation business administration. In addition, I aspire to become a major airline captain and mentor for underprivileged communities. I aim to inspire the next generation by offering guidance, resources, and opportunities that encourage them to explore careers in aviation.

Fun Fact:
I started playing tennis when I was five years old. After years of training and competition, my experiences have shaped my mindset and given me the tools to focus and think strategically, both on and off the court.
